What We Do

Red Panda Rescue increase awareness and help raise funds to preserve the red panda, both in the wild and in captivity around the world.

Red pandas are an at-risk species, victims of deforestation. Their natural space is shrinking as more and more forests are destroyed by logging.

They are currently classified as Endangered, and their numbers continue to decline. Through donations and funding we endeavour to grow their numbers and educate communities about the plight of the red panda.

Our primary goals

Educate

We help create awareness in schools and communities across the world around the plight of the red panda. Thanks to your donations and funding, we can distribute information packs and educational tools to spread the word.

Conserve

Helping to preserve the environment and also support the Nepalese economic well-being to reduce forestry. Red Panda Rescue also work with anti-poaching organisations to remove traps and illegal fur trading in the area.

Protect

Teaming up with conservationist groups, zoos and sanctuaries around the globe and helping them fund work with red panda in captivity, and grow their numbers in a safe environment. Content Text

Socially & Environmentally Responsible

Part of the reason for the decline for the red panda population is global warming, and at Red Panda Rescue we always consider the environment first.

It starts with the little things. For instance this website is hosted in a server farm that is completely powered by renewable solar energy to minimise our carbon footprint.

We also source renewable, and responsibly produced materials for the items in our online store – including pens made from recyclable materials, and ethically & organically grown cotton for our clothing.
